GT Works is Mitsubishi Electric’s comprehensive suite of software tools aimed at reducing development time for GOT1000 HMIs, and making data handling and maintenance tasks easier than ever.

The latest version (1.17T) is now Windows 7 (32 bit) compliant and includes connectivity to the very latest range of Mitsubishi Q Series PLCs. There is also a new user-friendly interface that makes installation and use much easier.

Useful tools
As well as screen design software (GT Designer), GT Works also includes other useful tools, such as a project simulator for quick and easy project testing and conversion software to allow import of projects from legacy A800/A900 HMIs. There is also a full set of manuals included with the software which makes accessing information about any aspect of the GOT1000 range really easy as all of the information is held in one place.

Remote Connection
Another recent innovation in GT Works is the ability to remotely control an HMI via an Ethernet LAN from your PC. The PC Remote Operation Driver can extract a project from any connected GOT1500/1600 and then run the project on PC allowing full control as if the user were operating the actual HMI.
