Spelsberg UK Sales Team is Strengthened with New Appointments

Spelsberg, the largest ex-stock supplier of non-metallic electrical enclosures in the UK, has expanded its sales force with the appointment of two new Area Sales Managers.
Daren Field and Clare McCusker will be responsible for developing Spelsberg’s relationships with existing customers as well as nurturing new business. The appointments will allow Spelsberg to continue to maintain close partnerships with its customers in these areas.
Daren Field, Area Sales Manager for the South West, West Midlands and Wales, has been working within the electrical industry for over 15 years. He is used to working closely with OEMs, Panel Builders and End Users to develop bespoke, application specific solutions. His experience with control gear, electrical distribution and enclosures means he has quickly developed a strong knowledge of the Spelsberg range and is experienced in the needs of most industries.
Daren comments: “Having worked as a sales engineer for most of my career I appreciate how important pre and post sales support is to customers. At Spelsberg we are encouraged to develop close, supportive working relationships with our customers - and an understanding of their products - so we can advise them when our new products or services may be beneficial. Clare McCusker, Area Sales Manager for North East and Eastern England, began her career working with a global supplier of electrical distribution and automation control equipment. She then moved on to become a key account manager for a leading provider of electrical connectivity and housing solutions. She is experienced in working with customers on large scale projects; specifying the ideal solution and ensuring all deadlines are met.
Clare says: “With its high-tech manufacturing facilities in Germany and the large UK warehousing, Spelsberg is able to offer its customers the wide product range and short lead times associated with global component suppliers. However, we are also able to offer a level of flexibility that is normally only available from smaller companies; such as customising enclosures on extremely low quantity orders. As a sales person it’s a real luxury to be able offer all of these things to my customers.”
