Suitable for indoor or outdoor use, our new Allen-Bradley Bulletin 103, 105, 107 and 109 starters are ideal for material handling, single-drive OEM machinery, conveyor systems, fans and refrigeration applications.

The four variants offer different features and fulfil a variety of roles. The Bulletin 103C is a Direct-On-Line (DOL) Combination Starter with Bulletin 140M-C Motor Protection Circuit Breakers and the Bulletin 100-C09…C16 Contactors; the Bulletin 105 is a Reversing Starter with Bulletin 193-E1 Plus Electronic Overload Relays and Bulletin 100-C09…C23 Contactors; the Bulletin 107C is a Reversing Combination Starter with Bulletin 140M-C Motor Protection Circuit Breakers and the Bulletin 100-C09…C16 Contactors; and the Bulletin 109 is a Direct-On-Line (DOL) Starter with Bulletin 193-E1 Plus Electronic Overload Relays and the Bulletin 100-C09…C43 Contactors.

The Bulletin 109 and 105 Automation Class products are designed for adding side-mount accessory modules to Allen-Bradley’s E1 Plus Electronic Overload Relay. Among other functions, the side-mount modules provide network functionality (DeviceNet/Ethernet) to simplify control and reduce wiring effort in remote controlled applications.

The starters are encased in engineered enclosures from our Allen-Bradley Bulletin 198E Plastic Enclosures range. These come in two types: high-grade acrylonitrile and heavy-duty polycarbonate and offer ingress protection against dust, dirt and humidity thanks to their IP66 and UL4, 4X and 12K ratings. Features include knockouts for 20 and 25mm metric cable glands, sealable cover screws and non-corrosive parts. With easy to access terminals and moulded connection kits installation time can also be reduced along with complexity. The enclosures are compliant with EN/IEC 62208, UL 50, UL 508 and CSA 22.2, No. 14 and they are both CE Marked and cULus listed.
