- Published: Wednesday, 29 February 2012 16:42
Fluke has introduced five new thermal imagers for a range of users, applications and prices, products which are set to transform the market. The Fluke Ti110 and Ti125 are designed for plant technicians, HVAC/R professionals and electricians who need to maintain and inspect electrical and mechanical equipment and components.
The Fluke TiR110 and TiR125 are for building inspection and energy audit professionals evaluating and reporting insulation problems, air leakage, moisture issues, or construction defects; the Fluke Ti100 is for general applications, offering the same ruggedness and ease-of use for value-conscious professionals. The Fluke Ti110, Ti125, TiR110, and TiR125 feature breakthrough capabilities, including IR-OptiFlex™ focus system, IR-PhotoNotes™ annotation system, focus-free video, IR-Fusion® technology, and SmartView® professional IR analysis and reporting software.
Offering best-in-class focus and ergonomics and Fluke’s world-renowned ruggedness, the thermal imagers provide a broad range of powerful capabilities that are so easy to use they can become a regular part of troubleshooting and diagnostic routines.
IR Optiflex Focus System
Offering automatic focusing with a manual focus option for close-ups, IR Optiflex makes it fast and easy to take sharply-focused, accurate images.
Fluke’s patented-technology blends digital and infrared images into a single image to precisely document problem areas.
Weighing just 0.7kg, the thermal imager is light, balanced to sit perfectly in the hand, and all buttons are within gloved-thumb reach. It is light enough to aim either vertically or horizontally and to use for long stretches without tiring.
Fluke thermal imagers are built to be put to work. They are tough enough to survive drops of up to 2 metres.
Multi-mode video recording
This allows the user to record focus-free video in visible light and infrared with full IR-Fusion capabilities. The user can monitor processes over time, troubleshoot frame-by-frame, and create infrared video reports.
This feature allows the capture of up to three digital photos per thermal image file, enabling the exact recording of equipment models, nameplates and other useful information.
By saving the compass reading with the thermal image, it helps track the location of the problem.
SmartView professional IR analysis and reporting software
This is a professional suite of analysis and reporting tools for viewing, annotating and editing infrared images. It comes with unlimited licences and free lifetime upgrades.
The new Fluke thermal imagers come complete with AC power adapter, lithium ion smart battery (Ti125 and TiR125 include two each - others one each), USB cable for PC image download, SD memory card, hard carrying case, soft transport bag, adjustable hand strap (left- or right-handed use), and manuals. The Ti125 and TiR125 models also include a two-bay charging base, a multi-function USB memory card reader and a separate, longer USB cable for streaming video use.
